Senior Pastors
Tony & Vicki Bratcher
Pastor Tony & Vicki Bratcher are the lead pastors at NewLife Church of Georgetown SC. Pastor Tony is a lifelong resident of Georgetown, while Vicki moved here from Oklahoma 32 years ago. They have been married for over 30 years and have raised four children together, Seth, Matt, Katlyn, and Corine. Two of their children are still living in the Georgetown area with their families and two of them live in the upstate of South Carolina with their families.
Though faithful volunteers in the church, both Pastor Tony & Vicki were in business management most of their lives, but were called into full-time ministry in 2006 where they served as the Executive Pastors of Cornerstone Church of God of Myrtle Beach SC for 2 years and helped take that ministry from 60 attendees to 300. In 2008 they left there and helped start journeychurch of Myrtle Beach serving as the Executive Pastors and enjoyed helping to grow that church body to over 600.
In June of 2014 after much prayer, Pastor Tony and Vicki were compelled by the Lord to come back to Georgetown. With the blessing of the journeychurch Pastors and Elders, they started NewLife Church of Georgetown. On February 1, 2015, they held their first service and started the ministry. Pastor Tony is an Ordained Minister of the Gospel and is credentialed by the International Congress of Churches and Ministers. He and Pastor Vicki are both certified by Family Dynamics in marriage ministry. They both have a passion for prayer, mentoring new believers, restoring marriages, and making people feel encouraged, valued and loved.
Caleb, Sarah and their daughter Millie are such an integral part of NewLife Church. Their heart has been drawn to youth since day one and they have strived to be role models in their faith journey since their initial visit. Partnering with them as Youth Pastors is an honor! Their compassionate leadership and life application style of teaching is inspiring community and passion for a personal relationship with Christ for everyone they encounter. We are blessed beyond measure to know them.
